How Gopher Score Is Used In The Ticket & Upgrade Process

Season Ticket Upgrades

How the Season Ticket Upgrade Process works

When renewing your season tickets, answer “Yes” to the “Are you interested in a seat and/or parking upgrade” question. By doing that, you will be entered into the season ticket upgrade process.

The upgrade process will take place after season ticket renewals have completed. At that time the Sales & Service Department will call every season ticket holder that chose to participate in the upgrade process to discuss what options are available.

How Gopher Score is incorporated into the process

Once the renewal deadline has passed, all season tickets holders that requested an upgrade will be placed into 10 equal zones. Season ticket holders are divided into zones based on their Gopher Score rank.

The Sales & Service Department will call everyone in priority order, beginning with Zone 1, as season ticket holders with the highest priority were awarded Zone 1.

Post-season Tickets

How the Post-season Ticket Process works

Depending on availability, post-season tickets may be offered to all Gopher Score members at one time, or to a certain amount of customers based on their Gopher Score.

How Gopher Score is incorporated into the process

Gopher Score will be used in two capacities for post-season events:

1. If seating allotment is limited, priority order will be used to purchase tickets.

Example: From 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., customers ranked 1-500 have the opportunity to purchase tickets. From 10:00 a.m -11:00 a.m., customers ranked 501-1,000 have the opportunity to purchase tickets, etc. If availability is not anticipated to be an issue (ex: 2013 Texas Bowl), anyone with a Gopher Score will be able to purchase tickets.

2. Customers with tickets will be placed in priority order by their Gopher Score rank. Seats will be allocated in that order.  Customers with the highest priority will be offered the best seat location.

New Season Tickets

How the process of purchasing new season tickets works

Option #1: Place a deposit on a season ticket location. Before the season upgrade process, you have the ability to place a deposit on a season ticket location. By placing this deposit, you guarantee that seat location, with the ability to enter the upgrade process with current season ticket holders to improve your location.

Option #2: Enter the upgrade process with your Gopher Score priority rank (no deposit required): Before the season upgrade process, you have the ability to indicate you are interested in purchasing season tickets but do not want to place a deposit.

If you select this option, you will be contacted when we reach your priority in the upgrade process to discuss what locations are available. If you would like to purchase tickets at that time, you may do so. If you are not interested in any available locations, you are not required to purchase tickets.

How Gopher Score is incorporated into the process

Whether you place a deposit or not, your Gopher Score is used the same way. Your Gopher Score rank is used to determine priority order during the upgrade process. You may increase your priority by giving to the Golden Gopher Fund.

Single-Game Ticket On-Sales

How the Single-Game Ticket On-Sale Process works

Single-game tickets and ticket packages are made available to select groups during a pre-sale before the general public has access to purchase tickets.

How Gopher Score is incorporated into the process

Customers that have a Gopher Score gain access to pre-sales for all single-game tickets and ticket packages before the general public. Even if you do not have season tickets to a particular sport, you still have access to the single-game tickets or ticket package pre-sale if you have a Gopher Score
