Renewing Your Season Tickets

Renewals for the 2018 season will begin February 12 with the deadline to renew being May 31.

Associate Donor Process

Multiple people are allowed to make payments towards season tickets and/or scholarship seating gifts on one account at the approval of the season ticket holder. If this is the case, please fill out the attached associate donor form to ensure the correct parties receive the appropriate credit.

Below is a list of items that may help you prepare for upgrading your season tickets/parking: Fill out the associate donor form (Note: Please provide both customers contact information and the details of who is paying for which portion of the tickets, donations and parking).

Ticket Transfer Process

All season ticket holders have the ability to transfer their season tickets to immediate family members. The season ticket history on the old account will be transferred to new season ticket holder of record. Financial giving, alumni status, varsity letterwinner status and UMAA status will not be transferred to new season ticket holder of record except in the case of transfer to a spouse/partner. In order to complete the transfer, a proof of relationship must be submitted along with the season ticket transfer form.

Below is a list of items that may help you prepare for transferring your season tickets:

  • Fill out the transfer request form including contact information of the transferor/transferee and seat locations of the tickets to be transferred.
  • Secure proof of relationship (Note: proof of relationship includes a copy of a birth certificate or a copy of a marriage license)

Following the completion of the transfer, the Gopher Sales and Service Department will contact both parties confirming the transfer. The transferee will also receive an email containing information about their season tickets, as well as their MyGopherSports.com account log in information.

Gophers Men’s Hockey Season Ticket Exchange Program

Exchanges can be made over the phone with our dedicated Fan Relations Department (612.624.8080), at the 3M Arena at Mariucci Ticket Office, or by mail: University of Minnesota Athletic Department – Season Ticket Exchange Program, 101 Mariucci Arena 4 Oak Street SE Minneapolis MN 55455. All exchanges will include a $2.00 per ticket fee.

All Exchanges must be made in advance of the game being exchanged out of. Please note, this is a change from the 2017-18 Hockey Exchange Program.

All Tickets Exchanges must be executed at least 72 hours prior to the start of the game being exchanged out of. For example, to exchange Minnesota State tickets for Ohio State tickets, the season ticket holder must contact Gopher Fan Relations prior to end of business Tuesday, October 30th as the Minnesota State game is scheduled for Friday, November 2nd.

There are no refunds or credits if the total value is not used. Tickets cannot be re-exchanged. All future exchanges are made on a ticket for ticket basis. No credit will be applied to your account if the total value is not exchanged. Exchanges are based on availability and done on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets in Club Level and Zone 1 will be redeemed for best available main stands seating area. Only season tickets may be exchange, other ticket types are not eligible for this program.

All exchanges and seat locations are at the sole discretion of the U of M Ticket Sales and Service Office. Additional rules may apply.

Payment Plans

When renewing their season tickets and/or scholarship seating gifts, season tickets holders have the opportunity to go on a payment plan. There is a standard three month payment plan that can be set up when renewing online or over the phone. If you wish to set up a customized payment plan, please contact the Gopher Sales & Service Department at 612-624-8080.

Changing Your Seats & Parking

Seat/Parking Adjustment Process

The Gopher Men’s Hockey Seat/Parking Adjustment Process will take place in late June. The adjustment process can be used to add or remove season tickets/ parking as well as move your current season tickets/parking to a new location. All season tickets holders who request an adjustment will be ranked in priority order based on their Gopher Score. (Note: By entering the adjustment process, you do not lose your current seat/parking locations. You just have the ability to move to a new location if desired.)

Below is a list of items that may help you prepare for adjusting your season tickets/parking: Renew your season tickets by the May 31, 2018 renewal deadline. On your renewal, indicate that you are interested in a seat/parking adjustment. (Note: If you are looking to drop any of your tickets or move to a lower donation level, please contact the Gopher Sales & Service Department at 612-624-8080 prior to renewing your tickets)

Make any gifts to the Golden Gopher Fund to improve your Gopher Score rank by May 31.

Review a seating or parking map to identify possible seating or parking areas that you would like to move to. If you would like to schedule a time to look at specific seats in Williams Arena please call the Sales & Service Department and a customer service representative can help schedule a visit.

You will receive an email prior to the adjustment process informing you of your anticipated call time, as well as available seating/parking options. If this time does not work for you please call the Sales & Service Department to discuss other options.

You will receive a call from the Gopher Sales & Service Department at your designated time to discuss adjustment options. At that time, you will be able move and/or add seats and parking. You also have the ability to keep your same seats and parking if there are not any locations that you would like to move to.

If you do move into an area that increases your season ticket price or scholarship seating donation the remaining balance must be paid at the time of your adjustment. Season tickets/parking will be shipped in late August/early September through UPS

Group Seating Adjustment Process

All season ticket holders who sit together as a group have the ability to move their seats/parking together as a group. The Gopher Men’s Hockey Seat/Parking Adjustment Process will take place in late June. All season tickets holders who request an adjustment will be ranked in priority order based on their Gopher Score rank. In order to move seats as a group, we will ask that you assign a group spokesperson who will be able to approve seating changes for all season ticket holders apart of the group. Your group spokesperson will be contacted once we reach the group member who has the lowest priority.

  • Make any gifts to the Golden Gopher Fund to improve your Gopher Score rank by May 31. Review a seating or parking map to identify possible seating or parking areas that you would like to move to. If you would like to schedule a time to look at specific seats in 3M Arena at Mariucci please call the Sales & Service department and a customer service representative can help schedule a visit.
  • Your group will receive an email prior to the adjustment process informing you of your anticipated call time, as well as available seating/parking options. If this time does not work for you please call the Sales & Service department to discuss other options.
  • Your group spokesperson will receive a call from the Gopher Sales & Service department at your designated time to discuss adjustment options. At that time, you will be able move and/or add seats and parking. You also have the ability to keep your same seats and parking if there are not any locations that you would like to move to.
  • If you do move into an area that increases your season ticket price or scholarship seating donation the remaining balance must be paid at the time of your adjustment. The Gopher Sales and Service Department will reach out to each group member to collect payment if there is a remaining balance on the account. Season tickets will be shipped in early August through UPS.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will my tickets arrive?

Football season tickets and parking will be delivered via UPS in late August/early September. Please make sure that all contact information is up to date to ensure proper delivery. Also, if your mailing address is a PO Box, please provide an alternate address, as UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes.

How do I change my address?

To ensure that you receive your season tickets in time for the start of the 2018 season, please submit address changes no later than July 21, 2018.

How do I set up my online account?

If you have never renewed online, please call the Gopher Sales & Service Department at 612-624-8080 for assistance in logging into your online account.

How do I retrieve my username and/or password?

Your username cannot be emailed to you. To retrieve your username, please call the Gopher Sales & Service Department at 612-624-8080. A Fan Relations representative will provide you with your username if you cannot remember it. (Please note: If you have season tickets DO NOT create a new account.)
